BSU-INL Mentorship Program – Leading Innovative Energy Design

This program/course will lead Boise State University students through the process of research with professional development and team-building activities, while introducing students to INL researchers and the work underway at the national laboratory. All Boise State University students, graduate and undergraduate, are eligible for this interdisciplinary course, which is scheduled to launch in January 2023 as a pilot course. Other similar courses are anticipated in fields such as cyber and materials science. Students will become familiar with the missions of the Department of Energy and INL as well as research in the energy sector. They also will develop a research project that lends itself to the unique capabilities of Boise State, CAES and IN, and will visit INL to meet with researchers and learn about career pathways in energy.
