The Center for Advanced Energy Studies (CAES) Advanced Manufacturing for Extreme Environments Workshop, hosted by Boise State University, aims to build a community of advanced manufacturing researchers to address grand challenges in advanced manufacturing for extreme environments. The goal is to connect CAES researchers with industry and government researchers to enhance collaborations in advanced manufacturing (AM). Attendees will learn about AM research capabilities across CAES, government labs, and industry to identify subareas of AM for collaboration. Additionally, gaps in CAES infrastructure will be identified to prioritize major instrumentation procurement strategies.
