Joseph L. Campbell will provide an overview of early reactor development and other key facilities on the INL Site, established in 1949 as the National Reactor Testing Station. This session is only available in-person.

Before joining INL, Joe supported public involvement efforts for the decommissioning of some of the INL site’s most historically significant facilities including the Materials Testing Reactor and Experimental Breeder Reactor-II. He currently serves as communications liaison for INL’s Advanced Test Reactor (ATR) and has supported all of INL’s nuclear research directorates during his career. Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Idaho State University
