Energy Innovation Notes – May 24 edition

Dear CAES Community,

Lots on tap heading into the start of summer!

The Center for Advanced Energy Studies (CAES) Summer Visiting Faculty Program with 17 UI/BSU/ISU university researchers and 18 INL collaborators kicks off today, as does the first-ever INL Innovation Week. The joint CAES-UI-BSU-ISU Idaho I Corps Ignite faculty commercialization pilot has double the applications than seats (more information on this pilot forthcoming). In addition, the premier Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) application window for the fall paid internship closes this Thursday. Finally, CAES Shark Tank 2.0 is under development!

Paid Energy Internships (!):The Office of Technology Transitions at the Department of Energy (DOE) has opened an application window for a paid summer (undergraduate) technology transition/entrepreneurship internship working with DOE lab technologies. Full details here
