Cybersecurity working group holds workshop

The CAES Cybersecurity working group held a workshop in late April, a daylong event that featured three breakout sessions and updates from each of the CAES entities on cyber-related initiatives. Presentations were made by ISU’s interim Vice President for Research, Scott Snyder, and Cybercore Integration Center Director Wayne Austad, and representatives from each of the breakout sessions. The Cybersecurity working group is one of seven working groups formed in each of the focus areas outlined in the CAES Strategy. The others are Nuclear Energy; Energy-Water Nexus; Cybersecurity; Advanced Manufacturing; Innovative Energy Systems; Energy Policy; and Computing, Data, and Visualization. If you would like to join a CAES working group, please see the iNotes from Aug. 29, 2019 or contact [email protected].
